https://jim-quinn4.blogspot.com/ for motorsportThe numbers paint a bleak picture. The budget needs to address weak economic growth, high inflation, and growing public sector debt.
It also needs to spark renewal. The government’s plans rely on an enormous amount of infrastructure investment that public finances alone can’t hope to fulfil.
Enter the National Wealth Fund (NWF), which will play a crucial role in the coming years.
Established in October 2024 as a successor to the UK Infrastructure Bank, the NWF aims to crowd in private investment to support growth in priority sectors: clean energy, digital and technologies, advanced manufacturing, and transport.
In practice, this means funding or guaranteeing riskier sectors and technologies that private investors wouldn’t otherwise consider......etc etc

and it continues: RFI sharpish leg pain this morning at 0523 for a few minutes, a little worse than yesterday
When (those against the flags) set themselves up as the mouthpiece and arbiter of what is, or what Is not, allowable ‘correct think' by expressing a bitter tirade against those who are flying the St George's flag around Stonehouse, their arrogance depresses me, but it does not surprise me.
There is a certain class of comfortably-off person eager to put themselves forward into positions of minor power within our state apparatus these days, who use this position to impose their viewpoint on everyone around them, evincing no ability to debate or to listen to other evidence than that they wish to hear.
And sad to say these apparatchiks and ideologues are now everywhere you look in this country ‑ anywhere that the state doles out little medallions or offices designed to swell their ego, you will find them.
I lived in China many years ago, and I never thought that in a relatively short period of time, fortunes would reverse so starkly (not only economically, but that too) such that here in England we would be lorded over by cadres, while in China the thought policing infrastructure would dramatically fade from what it once was (they do not have a social credit system by the way), and become now considerably more benign than what we have here.
The truth about immigration, rarely if ever expressed in any quarter, is that we have a situation in which a cabal of let's call them 'untouchables' (I mean the political class and 'elites', those who will never suffer loss or harm no matter how they ever behave), go about systematically destroying other sovereign nations to gain geopolitical advantage over resources (by deliberately destabilising regions) and to promote the interests of the military industrial complex, and those who make money from ‘war bonds'; and then welcome the resulting dispossessed here with open arms and crocodile tears, or smiles, whichever suits the moment (read: "Dope Inc" -JimQ:updated2010- by the way, to learn precisely why we went into Afghanistan).
Think about it. The British state (which is quite separate to the people of this land) has thus far destroyed: Yugoslavia, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Gaza, Sudan, Somalia, Ukraine ‑ and many, many more via bomb and usury.
And then, these self‑same architects of this hellish destruction pretend to be 'compassionate' to the very people whose homelands they brutally destroyed, allowing them to live for free in places where they know it will be inflammatory and divisive so to do ‑ and which they do not pay for, but those struggling to survive, do.
The root cause of all our ills is not so much the immigration, it is certainly not the salt‑of‑the‑earth people of this country for whom so many affluent types; it is: the political class, on all 'sides'. That is the dragon that requires slaying.

- is this one of the Tech Giants Predictions, where Chaos Theory is denied in the pursuit of money, paid for by the gullible Statsministeriet <stm@stm.dk> ?
Predicting criminal behaviour of a group might be possible, but NOT of an individual, for they contain a brain with billions of Neurons AND POSSIBILITIES. These types of prediction fit into the NONSENSE of the Victorians - if you have THAT BUMP on your head you are a criminal,...... or a Professor depending on which BUMP, which is HOW POORLY that sort of Algorithm works!!

"Algorithm" sounds grand, but in this individual predictive case it is just a lottery gamble - like, the small number of Victorian bumps on the head and the very much larger number of possible behaviours (or the relatively small number of life indicators collected into the Statsministeriet database!
YOU MUST NOT CONVICT BY PREDICTION, BUT BY EVIDENCE!
NOR BY PRESUMPTION!

My Request: what materials are liquid at 50 kelvin? The Chrome (Google) response:
At 50K (-223.15C) most pure elements are solids or gases, with only a few (NOPE!) noble gases being a gas at this temperature and many elements being solids. Common liquid elements like mercury (234K) and bromine (292K) are too far above 50K to be in a liquid state at this temperature. Therefore, there are no common elements that are liquid at 50K and it is likely that some very cold and specialized liquids would be needed to be in liquid state at this temperature.
Below: MP melting point, BP boiling point, at
Standard Atmospheric Pressure
Examples of materials that are liquid at 50K (-223.15C)
- Helium: It is the only element that is liquid at 50 K at standard pressure. Its boiling point is approximately 4.2 K. (NOPE! if the BP is 4.2K, how can it be liquid above that temperature!! Boil water and you produce steam at a constant 100C (273.15K), but then raise the temperature higher and it cannot be either solid or liquid, for it can only be a gas, called superheated steam). PS: 4.2K is He4 BP, while He3 BP is 3.2K - and both become solids at VERY high pressures!!
- Some molecules and compounds (NONE!)
- Liquid hydrogen: It boils at around 20K and its boiling point is -253C. At 50K, hydrogen is in a liquid state. (NOPE! the same rubbish as for helium above, Hydrogen MP is 14.0K and BP is 20.2K, so it is definitely a GAS at 50K)
- Mercury (solid)
- Bromine (solid)
- Gallium (solid)
- Iron (solid)
- Aluminum (solid) plus for example: Nitrogen, Oxygen (just), Fluorine (just)
- Fluorine (solid) YES! MP 53.4K, BP 85.0K
- Nitrogen (gas) NOPE! MP 63.2K, BP 77.3K.... thus a solid at 50K
- Oxygen (gas) NOPE! MP 54.3K, BP 90.1K.... thus a solid at 50K
- Neon (gas) YES, a gas! MP 24.5K, BP 27.1K
- Hydrogen (gas) YES, a gas! MP 14.0K, BP 20.2K
